Description
Estate planning is one of those things almost everyone knows they should take care of — and almost everyone puts off. Join Long Island Financial Planning Group and estate planning attorney Michelle Jablonsky, Partner at Davidow, Davidow, Siegel & Stern, LLP, for a relaxed evening on the water where we cut through the confusion and give you clear, practical answers.
Michelle will walk through what Baby Boomers need to have in place today: wills, trusts, health care proxies, powers of attorney, asset protection, Medicaid eligibility, and long-term care planning. She'll explain what's genuinely necessary, what isn't, and the common gaps that create headaches for families later on.
Bring your adult children. A portion of the evening is dedicated to them: what they should understand about their parents' plan, what role they may be asked to play, and what someone in their 30s or 40s should be putting in place for their own family right now. These conversations are far easier to have in a room with an attorney than around a kitchen table years from now.
Bring a guest, too. If you have a friend, family member, or colleague who would benefit from this information — or who has been meaning to get their own planning in order — we'd be glad to have them join us and get to know our firm.
